People and groups.

Every member has one record: their household, the groups and departments they belong to, and what they serve on. Departments and clusters each have their own lead, sub-lead and workers, so a department head runs their own team without church-wide admin access. Join requests come to one queue. Members can be invited by email or imported from a spreadsheet.

First-timers.

When someone joins and says they're new, they appear in a first-timers inbox. Each one can be assigned to someone on the welcome team, marked contacted, and filtered to “Assigned to me”. Planned visits from the church website arrive in the same place.

Planned visits need the website (Growth and Pro). Cohorts and member journeys with automated follow‑ups are on Growth and Pro.

Rotas, attendance and volunteers.

Each department builds its rota from a template. People are told when they're added and reminded the evening before and on the morning, in the church's own time zone. Attendance is taken per service, and volunteer hours can be logged and approved.

Giving and finance.

Gifts, funds and campaigns in one view, with donations visible only to the admin and the finance and trustee roles. Gift Aid declarations are kept on file, and the treasurer downloads the HMRC claim schedule; the church submits the claim itself. One all-in fee of 3.5% + 20p per gift, card processing included.

Bible plans and teaching.

The church makes its own reading plan from a template library or from scratch, sets a start date, and makes it the church's plan. Everyone reads the same passage each day. Sermons and series sit alongside, and training courses come with cohorts, live sessions and certificates.

Communications and design.

Announcements go to the whole church or to one team, by push, email or SMS, from one composer. Design Studio makes the week's graphics and Sunday screens in the church's own look.

Bulk SMS from Starter, through the church's own Twilio account. Design Studio on Growth and Pro.

Care, safeguarding and moderation.

Pastoral notes are seen only by people with the pastoral role, and a case can be restricted further. Reports about someone's safety go to the church's safeguarding lead. Each time the lead opens a reported conversation they give a reason, and it's logged. Children's check-in uses a QR code that rolls on a timer. Chat has moderation and word filters.

Children's check-in from Starter. It runs on iPhone in the app today and comes to Android with the next Android release.

Control: roles, sign‑in and records.

Four church roles and functional roles (finance, pastoral, safeguarding, communications and more) decide who sees what. Leaders can protect their sign-in with an authenticator app. Sensitive actions go to an audit log: who did what, and when.

Audit log from Starter (30 days; 180 days on Growth; 2 years on Pro). Single sign-on, API keys and white-label on Pro.

From a church plant of 30 to a church of 1,500, on one system: Free up to 30 members, Starter to 150, Growth to 600 and Pro to 1,500.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is the admin on the web or in the app?

Both. Most of the work is done in the web admin on a laptop. Leaders can also handle the day-to-day from the app.

Can a department head run their own team without seeing everything?

Yes. Department and cluster leads manage their own teams, and giving, pastoral and safeguarding records stay with the roles that need them.

Does it suit a larger church?

Yes. Growth covers up to 600 members and Pro up to 1,500, with single sign-on, an API and white-label on Pro.
