ChurchSuite is the leading UK church management platform and a genuinely strong product — but it has gaps that matter: no member-to-member chat, no livestream inside the member app, and no discipleship or training tools.
ChurchSuite is genuinely good at what it does. The UK focus means Gift Aid, GDPR, and church-specific workflows are handled properly. The admin dashboard is mature, and features like small group management, child check-in, and reporting are well-developed.
If your main need is member database, giving administration, and event management — ChurchSuite is a solid choice. The gap is everything above basic administration: communication, engagement, discipleship, and streaming.
Most ChurchSuite churches still use WhatsApp for team conversation, because ChurchSuite does bulk communication rather than chat. Their livestream lives on YouTube or Facebook, a separate app away from everything else the church sends. They use paper or Google Forms for induction materials, because there's no training module.
Aurnet covers all of that in a single subscription, so it is one bill and one login rather than four.

Most church management platforms focus on administration — and administration is important. But the mission of a church isn't efficient administration. It's making disciples.
Aurnet is the only UK church platform with a built-in training and discipleship module: custom programs, step-by-step modules, quizzes, certificates, auto-enrolment by ministry team, and accountability partner pairing. It's the part of Aurnet that's genuinely different from every other platform in this category.
