What each one is known for
- ChurchSuite: a mature UK system with modules you pick and pay for, long experience with UK churches, and free help importing your data.
- iKnow Church: UK-built, with a safeguarding module covering concerns, case records and DBS checks, plus Church of England life-events tools.
- Hubb: a UK website, app and admin in one, with half-price offers for some denominations and church plants.
- ChurchDesk: strong on church websites and calendars, and priced for parishes.
- ChMeetings: a low-cost option with a free plan for up to 50 people.
- Aurnet: church management software and a member app for a church's whole week. Leaders run people, departments, rotas and giving with Gift Aid from one web admin. The church sets a Bible reading plan and everyone reads the same passage, with their own notes. The rota sits on each person's phone, with a reminder at 7pm the evening before and 7am on the day. Events, sermons, prayer and chat are in the same app.
Where Aurnet is a good fit, and where it isn't
Aurnet tends to suit a church that wants its members in one app every day, especially a church with many departments and workers. Department and group leaders can manage their own teams without church-wide admin access.
It's a newer supplier: Aurnet Limited was incorporated in January 2026, and there are no published case studies yet. Our giving fee of 3.5% + 20p includes card processing; some others charge less per gift, so it's worth comparing on your church's giving. You can import members from a spreadsheet yourself, but we don't offer a done-for-you migration.
Questions worth asking any supplier
- What does it cost at your size, including VAT, SMS and any setup fee?
- Do members get an app they'll actually open, on iPhone and Android?
- Can you import your current records, and who does it?
- Where is the data hosted, and is there a published DPA?
- What can you export if you leave?
Our own answers are on the Questions page (aurnet.co.uk/questions).
